Purchased October 2008 by our agent Scott and picked up in November 2008. Sears sold these in their 1968 catalogs (we have the original ads). They are badged as Sears but were made by Gilera (an Italian company). The 124 5V is a 124cc 5-speed pushrod single-cylinder. The Sears 124 5V is based on the 125 Gilera Arcore with some internal modifications. The 124 5V has a factory fresh top speed of 70MPH and gets approx. 100MPG.

The bike has been repainted, has a tab-loc sprocket (suggesting some form of racing in a former life), is not currently running due to a missing carb slide, and has some of the original tools. I have purchased a carb and slide from eBay. It has done 1126 miles and has the OEM tires on still. The tank has been sealed somewhat recently. I will first get the bike running by fixing the carb and setting up the fuel system before getting fresh tires and removing the tab-loc.

Photos below are the bike as purchased (although I started removing the tape racing stripe).
